Radar Target Generation and Detection

To complete this project, you can download the Radar_Target_Generation_and_Detection.m starter file from the Supporting Materials section below.

  • Follow the steps in the previous concepts to complete your code.
  • Write a README outlining the following:
    • Implementation steps for the 2D CFAR process.
    • Selection of Training, Guard cells and offset.
    • Steps taken to suppress the non-thresholded cells at the edges.
  • Check the project rubric to ensure that all criteria are met.

When you are finished, you can zip your code and README and submit, or submit using a Github repo.

To complete the project, you will need to download MATLAB on your computer, if you haven't already. To get started, you can follow these steps:

  1. If you do not already have a MathWorks account, create one here . Be sure to verify your email (check your Junk/Spam folders) before moving on to step 2.
  2. Download the installer here .
  3. Run the installer – it will guide you through the steps for your OS.
